Ola Electric: INR 600 crore worth S1 scooters sold!

Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal announced that the company sold Ola Electric S1 scooters worth INR 600 crore within 24 hours. After the announcement on Wednesday, more than 80,000 units were sold and the company also claimed that users purchased 4 scooters per second of the first 24 hours. The total value of the scooters sold is claimed to be more than the single day sales of entire two wheeler industry.

Ola CEO took this to twitter by saying how India is rejecting petrol and joining the revolution by committing to EV.

The users who have already reserved the scooter can purchase via Ola App (as the option is only available in the Ola app) meanwhile others can take a spot to wait in the line. Seems like the Ola Future Factory has a lot of work to do and soon we will see the Ola Electric S1 and S1 Pro on the roads.
